Over the past two weeks, I have added a couple more workouts to the Choices Coach YouTube channel. With these two videos, I decided to do workouts for the total body. You have two options. There's a 15-minute(-ish) workout for when you are either too busy to do more or just not feeling it. Then there's a 30-minute workout for when you have more time. For each of these workouts, I purposefully did not play any music so that you can choose your own. Please let me know if you like having that option. The next video that I will upload will have music, so you can compare and comment on what you like better. I would love some feedback.
You can do these workouts at home or at the gym. All you need are dumbbells and a mat.
I recommend doing one of my cardio warm-up videos first, but if you're short on time this workout does include a super brief warm-up. If you have more time at the end of this total body workout, then do a final stretch video.
You can purchase the 32 lb dumbbell set (with stand included) that I am using in the video from Amazon: https://amzn.to/371bpXy
The 10-pound dumbbells were extra. This set is similar to the ones that I am using: https://amzn.to/3ad4xZl
For when you have more time, try this 30-minute workout. I recommend doing this workout 3 times per week on nonconsecutive days. I recommend doing one of my cardio warm-up videos first, but if you're short on time this workout does include a short warm-up. If you have more time at the end of this total body workout, then try one of my abs or glutes workouts next. Then do a final stretch video.
Fitness training is great for the body, but faith training is important for the mind and the spirit. This past week I shared part two of my interview with my awesome friend, Geony Rucker. She is the founder of a nonprofit organization, Value Unconditional. Listen to this faith devotional, as Geony and I talk about the Spiritual gifts of the Holy Spirit and hearing God's voice. We discuss hearing God's voice and why you should not be afraid of the Spiritual gifts of the Holy Spirit. It may seem scary to hear God's voice and to dive into your spiritual side, but receiving the Holy Spirit is a huge part of the Gospel. God wants to have a relationship with you. The Holy Spirit is our Helper and Comforter.
For additional scripture references read 1 Corinthians Chapter 12.
