I've added a few new workouts (arms, legs, cool down, and final relaxation) this week to the YouTube channel. You can do them in this order or create your own playlist. I suggest starting with a warm-up. I thought I was filming a warm-up and there was some sort of malfunction. I only got the first 30 seconds. It was good, too! Or at least, I thought it was! LOL! Maybe it wasn't as good as I thought. Anyway, after you finish your warm-up and cardio try this arm workout for the biceps and shoulders to "You Can't Stop The Girl" by Bebe Rexha:
After you finish your arm workout, move on to this leg workout to "No Time To Die" by Billie Eilish:
Follow the leg workout with this post-workout cool down to "Fall On Me" by Great Big World and Christina Aguilera. I love these lyrics! Jesus is the Light (John Chapter 1), so I see Jesus all over this song. He says "come as you are," with open arms.
"Fall On Me"
Sooner or later the lights up above Will come down in circles and guide me to love I don't know what's right for me I cannot see straight I've been here too long and I don't wanna wait for it
Fly like a cannonball straight to my soul Tear me to pieces and make me feel whole I'm willing to fight for it To feel something new To know what it's like to be sharing a space with you
Fall on me With open arms Fall on me From where you are Fall on me With all your light With all your light With all your light
After the cool down, make time to relax, pray, and meditate. This final relaxation is great post-workout or at any time. This restorative relaxation is great for your posture. Take this time to get into the presence of God. Breathe in the Holy Spirit and breathe out praise to God. Inhale peace and exhale gratitude.
Check out these beautiful lyrics.
"Into Dust" by Mack Brock
It wasn't meant to be this way Broken beneath the grief and pain There's nothing left here
But into my dust, You poured Your grace Lifted my head and spoke my name You'll see me through this
You are the maker of my heart You are the healer of my scars God, I will trust in who You are You are good, You speak life Into dust
God, You were here right from the start Holding each piece that broke apart And I'll trust You through this
You are the maker of my heart You are the healer of my scars God, I will trust in who You are You are good, You speak life You are the Savior of the world But carry the weight of all my hurt You are the grace I don't deserve You are good, You speak life Into dust
Enjoy your workout! Be blessed!
