Over the past few weeks, I have covered setting New Year's resolutions in my "Faith Training" series. In this first video, I talk about setting goals for 2020 and how to set Christ-centered or God-centered goals. I discuss scriptures from Proverbs and how to apply God's Word to setting New Year's resolutions.

In this next faith devotional video, I talk about planning the ideal week so that you know your target. The ideal week is like aiming at the bulls-eye. You won’t hit it 100% of the time, but if you know what you’re aiming at you will get closer to it than if you live life aimlessly. While it helps to know what the target is, we don’t want to be married to our schedule. We still want to surrender our time and our plans to God. That means we have to be flexible and remain open to the Holy Spirit. Watch the video for more about this:

In this last video, I talk about setting a New Year’s resolution to take care of your temple, starting with the mind. Then focus on the body. Often times, we don’t take accountability for our thoughts. However, the brain leads the whole body. When it comes to the mind and body, sometimes we still need healing spiritually. Listen as I dive into what the Bible says about the mind, the body, and healing (and I share a few personal stories on the subject).
Whatever your goals might be, I hope that you find the videos helpful as you start to dream and set your mind on your target. If you enjoyed these videos, then please subscribe to YouTube.com/ChoicesCoach.
