Can I get an AMEN!? 

 

There's no better way to start your day than in prayer. I must admit that I don't jump out of bed praying, singing, and dancing every day. However, I have to have my prayer time. Sometimes it includes singing, but often it's just quiet time, praying and reading the Bible. I wasn't always this way. I used to just pray when things were bad or someone else was in need. The closer I grow in my relationship with the Lord, the more I realize how much I need Him. I need my time with Him each morning. EVERY SINGLE DAY!

 

After praying first thing in the morning for awhile, I noticed that my days seem to go better. ALL DAY LONG! Go figure! I'll even find myself praying more often throughout the day in a peaceful, joyful way. I don't find myself as anxious in the midst of chaotic circumstances. I feel God's presence. He's got this! He guides my path.

 

"You go before me and follow me.

You place your hand of blessing on my head.

Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,

too great for me to understand!

I can never escape from your Spirit!

I can never get away from your presence!

If I go up to heaven, you are there;

if I go down to the grave, you are there.

If I ride the wings of the morning,

if I dwell by the farthest oceans,

even there your hand will guide me,

and your strength will support me."      Psalms 139:5-10

 

The best mornings are when I wake up singing, praising, and dancing. Why not start a workout that way? I have put together this little cardio warm-up routine so that you can dance, sing, and praise. Above all else, keep praying! God loves you, and He wants to be a part of your life.
